Round Comments:
I want to comment on pace of play. I feel anything longer the 5 hours for a round is too long, things start to drag on a bit after that much time. Today we played in 3hr 25mins. That’s also ridiculous. What happened to a round being 4hr 20mins? I didn’t get the memo regarding a normal round being less then 3.5 hours. It’s not like we had the course to ourselves and chose to play fast. We had groups ahead and behind and everyone was geared to a less then 3.5 hour round. Havent played in Selkirk for a while, it’s a nice well groomed course. I didn’t play badly at all. Hit good drives and solid approaches. The par 5’s ate me alive partially because they are very long and all were into the wind. Great day, just wish I could have played a bit slower to really enjoy the day.
