  Our full-backs like to attack at the same time, which looks great until we lose the ball and face a two-on-two break. We were debating whether one of them always has to stay back. What kind of cover should a team leave when both wide defenders push forward?

  You can send both full-backs forward if the team has a plan behind them. I like a shape where two centre-backs stay connected and a defensive midfielder sits in front, ready to deal with the first pass after a turnover. In one game I watched, the near-side winger also pressed immediately to buy those three players time. Problems appear when the deepest midfielder wanders into the box as well and nobody watches the opposing forwards. It's less about a fixed rule for the full-backs and more about keeping enough cover in the right places.
