Stunning shots with the driver. Irons were mostly shit (especially off the tee), struggled to get lift today with the irons. To improve with the irons needed to get that ‘hinge going’ (KEEP THE ARMS STRAIGHT THROUGH THE SWING AND NOT FLOPPY) Putting was very bad - lots of 3 and 4 putts. Was solid on 16/18 holes today (worst triple bogey on 15) - 8th hole (hardest hole) and 12th hole (2nd hardest hole was very costly).
Putting was pretty solid but one too many 3 putts.
Iron strikes quite good off the fairway. Tee shots significant area for improvement - topped one too many 5 irons off the tee.
Chipping was okay but consistently lacking. Nice chip shot on 10th hole got par!
Experimented with driver on 18th hole - better than expected.
To continue improvement - course management will be key and minimising errors (OOB, keep ball in play). Iron technique and chipping technique will continue to be key focus areas.Jan 2, 2022 Details -

Putted well, made mostly two putts; very few 3 putts. This is great!
Need work on course management- went for some ballsy shots.
Lost a lot of balls off tee shots with irons - area for development. Exploring 7 iron tee shots at the moment. Penalty strokes included.
