Should be 8 strokes lower at least because it’s Trent but just struggled today. Path was much better but felt like I lost where the bottom of my swing was today and got into flipping some at the bottom. I’d hit a few good ones and then some head scratchers but felt like I found a little something the last few holes. Trying to feel like the drill where in pitching I hold an alignment stick with the shaft and pitch while not letting it hit my side. Tried making that a thought for the full swing to encourage compression rather than flipping.

Working to get the rotation started before the shoulders/arms start down and around. It creates a little lag and gets the club in a better slot to neutralize the path and keep it from getting over the top. First round of the year, caught a warm Saturday afternoon. Hit it pretty well surprisingly just not sharp or polished overall. One thin wedge and a couple fat wedges (one from 94 yards and the other on a real fluffy bunker shot. Probably should’ve been even or one under, couldn’t make a putt for nothing and was hitting good putts on the lines I wanted but couldn’t make anything.Mar 25, 2023 Details
