Completely lost over the golf ball. Hitting everything off the toe (way right, fat, snap hook off the toe) so halfway through the back 9 I got a little closer to it since I widened my stance after getting too narrow and that seemed to help some. But hooked another one on 18 off the tee so really not sure what to do. Today was the practice round for a 2-day individual tournament at Floyd and I’m dreading it. I stand over the ball and don’t want to swing because I have no earthly clue where it’s going. Oh well I guess. Just tried to quit thinking about squaring the face and just thinking about tracing the target line with the club, alignment stick in front of the body and holding my finish.Aug 18, 2023 Details

Just solid all the way around. Didn’t make a lot of birdies but made some good ones for par. Let a few get away like 18 and but overall a solid day, just need to keep building on it and working on the same swinf thoughts. Well, it was a little aggravating to not hit it any better but it was better than last weekend. It was probably the easiest 81 I’ve ever shot which is good but just struggled with a few tee balls mostly and a couple iron shots. Just recently working on keeping the shaft in front of the body and the back of the left wrist square at impact. Just need to keep practicing. Also, putted terribly. Hit the ball pretty well but struggled on a couple holes and that cost me from shooting under par. Bad 2nd shot on #6 and block way right on #13 that led to an 8. Played those two Par 5s in +4 and #9 & #10 in -2. Hit some quality iron and wedges.Jun 3, 2023 Details

Started off turning it over right much but I think I was delivering it slightly closed. Worked on having the shaft parallel to the ball coming down and then keeping the hands forward and exiting left.
