Merry Christmas - Deri and I spent the night at our favorite place on Christmas Eve and were able to get out the next morning for 18 on Christmas Day. Got to use my new Jetspeed 4 hybrid and also benefit from a good drive on hole number 16 and went for the green in two with my new Jetspeed 5 wood and had a 12 foot putt for eagle. Played with Henry, Mr Mac and Ivan Johnson who was in on vacation from MD witrh his family. First time playing at Shinglle Creek since May of 2015. After a double on #2 closed out the front nine with three straight pars. Course was cart path only and while really not that wet can understand management move to keep course in pristine condition. Extra walking took its toll on me as I did get tired. Five doubles and only one par spelled doom for me along with the three 3 putts. Did not take care of the par 3s or the par 5s tody. Hit some very nice hybrids and while the putter was hot in the opening nine it cooled of on the closing nine. Doubling my strokes on the back nine cost me my sub 90 round.Aug 8, 2015 Details
