Along the Elbow River where elk, deer and an occasional bear still stroll, golfers now play at the 45-hole Glencoe Golf & Country Club. These unique golf courses are owned and operated by The Glencoe Club.
The 18-hole, continuous loop course, Glen Forest is designed in the great traditions of the Scottish courses and other 18-hole courses such as Cypress Point, Pebble Beach and Pine Valley. This quiet lowland walk is golf to challenge the best player and please the member who wants to play a full round, filled with fun. There is a unique mix of holes ... straightaways, doglegs left and right, over hill and dale in the spruce forest and open meadow holes over rocks, creeks and ponds with a great variety of shot making challenges.
If these 18 holes are not enough, another 27 await the player on the shorter, more gentle second course, the Glen Meadows, featuring the Lakes, Slopes & Bridges Nines. It is no pushover, however, and has interesting terrain with more elevation change to capture the attention of the thinking player and beginner alike. Both these beautiful challenging courses were crafted with great love and care, leaving an unforgettable impression on all who play there.
