Most complete round of the year! Drove the ball pretty good although the number of fairways hit doesn't show that. I also struck my irons real well, gave myself a lot of good looks to make something happen. Wedge play was solid for the most part, although I had a couple poor approaches from 15-30 yards on Holes 7 & 8. My ability to make big putts was key today, there were a couple putts I didn't even give a chance (i.e. Hole 1 & 5). Hit a couple of really good shots, my approach on Hole 1 which I allowed myself a great chance to make Par, tee shot on the Par 3 6th Hole in which I hit a 6 iron to 3-4 feet that allowed me to make birdie, a blind second shot on the Par 5 5th that made it on the green in 2 and setup a birdie, and lastly my second shot into the Par 5 9th, in which the ball was sitting in the rough on a down hill lie, leaving myself around 185 yards to the pin. The shot required a very low cut to avoid a tree and miss the bunkers guarding the front right of the green. I had it to 2 under after 6, but put myself in a couple of bad positions. Ended up grinding out an even Par 36, and probably the most fun I've had all year on the course. Round Rating: A+
