Round Comments:
Playing conditions today were pretty wet, especially in low spots on the course which let to some tough lies that I did not experience Saturday when I played. I did not drive the golf ball particularly well today, noticed that my contact was not as solid which lead to a lot of medium trajectory tee balls that were not hit with much power. My miss today off the tee was a pull medium/low line drive, which I believe was caused by standing too close to the ball and playing it on the outside of my right foot. Iron play was mediocre, I wasn't trapping the golf ball very well with my long iron which lead to some balls not flying as far as I hoped. Although I did hit all my long irons on their intended target line. Continued to work with my shot matrix which really seems to be improving my accuracy. My wedge play and distance control was pretty solid for the most part, although there were a couple miscues. One off an awkward stance and the other two were fliers out of the rough. I only had two wedge shots from inside 30 yards and executed them pretty good. The real downfall to my round today was putting, there were a few times when I took a longer backswing and decelerated coming through which caused a couple of low misses. I also found myself in a lot of tough positions off the tee, which lead to a lot of tough shots out of the extremely wet rough. One thing I observed while playing today is that the right side of this golf course on both front and back brings into play a lot of trouble, no OB right but a lot of small hazards and natural grass areas. Also a lot of side hills that can kick your ball into an unplayable or "punch out" lie. Round Rating: C+ (Most because is constantly put myself in bad spots, which were a lot worse than normal because of the rainfall from earlier in the day)
