  Hello, forum! I am looking for help with furniture repair. I recently moved to Santa Barbara and bought a couple of old chairs that were not in the best condition - the legs were damaged and the upholstery was torn. I would like to fix them, but I have no experience in furniture repair. Are there any good repair shops in Santa Barbara that can do this? Can anyone recommend a company that does not charge astronomical amounts for their services? I would like to get advice from those who have already encountered furniture repair in this city, in order to avoid a bad experience.

I chose the full restoration option, since the chest of drawers was antique and cost me a lot of money when I bought it. They carefully replaced the damaged elements, strengthened the structure and restored the appearance, while trying to preserve the original parts so that the furniture looks like new.

The repair was done carefully, and the leather on the sofa was restored without any visible traces of work, which pleasantly surprised me. Although the deadlines were a little delayed, the result fully met expectations. Of course, it is worth considering that when craftsmen work with leather, it takes time and patience.
