I appreciate the way golf courses such as Crossings Golf Club give people a chance to escape the daily grind and enjoy the outdoors. Golf can be a wonderful family recreation and a means to help kids relax their minds and free their thoughts. I believe that being able to take part in recreational activities can help children who struggle with stress, anxiety, and difficult social situations.
But as a parent in the Lakeville area, I also know that recreational activities are not a cure all and that seeking other forms of help for a child in need is not a bad thing.
