• Robert Thompson scored 42 on 9 holes at Roadrunner Coyote.

  Played the Coyote course today from a mix of the silver and black tees. 3wood was on point today! The work is starting to pay off. When I use a strong grip and think about coming in from the inside my natural inclination to hold the finish is keeping the ball straight or a nice power fade!
  
  Iron game is getting sharp. Nice 3/4 backswing and solid ball first contact is making the ball come off the club face nicely.

  First time playing Starr Pass in Tucson. Played Rattler/Roadrunner combination.
  
  Driving was ok. Started hitting it right off the tee later in the round. Needed to focus on coming from the inside and swinging out.

  First time at Blackstone and hit the tee ball pretty well, approaches into the green we’re terrible!
  
  Short game wasn’t very sharp today. I’ll chalk it up to playing a new course for the first time.

  Played from the white tees and those are the right tees for me to play.
  
  Short game work is paying off, no 3 putts and only 1 put I wish I had back!

  First round in the mountains. Need to spend some time on the range working on the new wedges and need to spend a lot of time chipping and putting because that continues to be terrible!!
