  slowed way down in swing. shallowed immediately vs any pull down. felt slow at the top and took much of my turn out. short game generally good. took a few mulligans but often played the shot anyway.

  first game of season. always played first ball. tried to keep honest. kept right elbow tucked and slowed down. still hard to be consistent. drives got better as day went on but still generally a push or slight slice.

  Aerated greens made it really hard to short putt. gave myself obvious aeration bounces except for tye birdie chance on hole 5 where i counted tye crap. new style swing with turning over forearms. no catastrophic hooks or slices but still have trouble consistently hitting the driver or the hybrid. 6 iron and down is way better. chipping still pretty good after remembering. the pars were legit. hole 9 especially. all fairway and center green pitch
